Jerry B. Adriano Sr., born to first generation Mexican immigrants on Kansas City’s Westside, has spent most of his adulthood involved in various aspects of Hispanic Community life. Jerry’s early work experience in office management for the Moving and Storage business and heavy contractor Crane rental business first exposed him to work with government contracts.

Since 1983, while employed by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in various Director and Management capacities, and also as a self-employed Management Consultant for KCHACE (Kansas City Hispanic Association Contractors Enterprise) and Co-founder/ Executive Director of Hispanic Contractors of America, Jerry served on a myriad of Boards of Directors. Among those are:

  • Additionally, Jerry has served as a representative on the Minority/Women in Business Coalition of Greater Kansas City.

    Dos Mundos, a Kansas City Hispanic Newspaper, recognized Jerry as one of Kansas City’s Top 25 Hispanics. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce awarded Jerry the Carlos F. Cortes Humanitarian of the Year award in 1987.
